When choosing a kit it is important to remember where and how the lights will be used. Luminosity measures the amount of light which is being produced; the higher the number the more light is produced. As you move further up the Kelvin scale the light becomes dimmer. If your kit is being used in a very low light area, it is recommended to use a kit which had a high luminosity, so that greater visibility is accomplished (5300K or 6000K). If you are looking for a great kit which will win you first place in car show, it is recommended to get a kit with a higher Kelvin rating; The 8000K 10000K & 12000K are most desirable because they offer a one of a kind hue.
