now offers wiring protection harnesses for your cars or
trucks HID kit. The harnesses help make sure that the
power to the ballast comes mainly from the battery and
not your stock harness. The initial charge in to the
ballast can be over 50W and to help keep your cars
wiring safe for later years, we recommend you purchase
the upgraded harnesses. A single harness powers both
drivers and passenger side ballasts. They plug in to
your cars battery negative and positive terminals, on
the wire you'll find 20A fuses which are used to prevent
blown fuses in your fuse box and to control the amount
of power which go to you ballasts. If you already have a
kit and do want a harness protection kit, you would have
to cut and splice wires to make it work. The harnesses
are made with industrial strength rubber wrapped wiring
and then placed in to a main rubber out side shell, they
are water resistant and heat resistant. Installation
time is about 15-20 Minutes after you have installed
your HID kit, everything is made for plug and play
purposes unless you are buying the harness without a
kit.
